Recently, Chaoyang Huaxing Wanda Tire Co., Ltd. announced its plan to invest 700 million yuan in building an automotive and motorcycle parts (tire) industrial park.
The new project will feature a factory area of approximately 80,000 square meters, with plans to establish two new production lines.
Two production lines are in operation: the "40,000 motorcycle inner and outer tire production line per day" and the "500,000 tire production line annually."
Meanwhile, the project will also establish new supporting facilities such as a rubber R&D center and a logistics hub.
The tire manufacturer stated that the new project is expected to begin production and operation by the end of 2018.
After being put into operation, the industrial park is expected to become the largest auto parts industrial park in Northeast China.
It is reported that Chaoyang Huaxing Wanda Tire aims to become China's leading rubber inner-tube industry base within 2 to 3 years.
According to available information, the company was established in 2013, originally founded as the state-owned Beipiao Rubber Factory, which was set up in 1958.
Its main products include butyl rubber automotive inner tubes, cushion strips, and engineering inner tubes, among others.
