Chaoyang Huaxing Wanda Tire Co., Ltd., located in the Beipiao Economic Development Zone of Chaoyang City, has significantly expanded both domestic and international markets in recent years, leveraging the momentum of the country's "Belt and Road" initiative. This strategic approach has yielded remarkable results, enabling the company to achieve robust production and sales growth. Today, it has become the largest domestic tire manufacturer in China in terms of daily output. Its products are exported to 16 countries and regions, including Russia, India, and Pakistan, where demand consistently outstrips supply.
During an on-site interview at the enterprise, the reporter was drawn to the neatly arranged fleet of sedans flanking the entrance to the factory grounds. Sun Hong, Director of the company's office, explained that these vehicles—totaling over 400 in number—are all privately owned by the workers. "As the company continues to expand its production scale, employee incomes have steadily risen year after year," she noted. "Currently, frontline workers earn an average salary exceeding 2,800 yuan, with some earning as much as over 5,000 yuan. Meanwhile, management-level employees already enjoy salaries surpassing 10,000 yuan. With rising incomes, more and more employees are now able to afford personal vehicles."
According to information available, the company was established in 2013 with a total investment of 500 million yuan. It is a provincial-level high-tech enterprise primarily engaged in the production of inner tubes. To further expand its production capacity and capture a larger share of the market, the company acquired four enterprises located near its existing facilities in 2017. Focused on developing a comprehensive automotive and motorcycle parts (tire) industrial park centered around tire manufacturing and related upstream and downstream supply chain projects, the company plans to invest an additional 700 million yuan to construct factory buildings covering 80,000 square meters.
New equipment will include a 70-ton heating boiler, as well as advanced production lines capable of manufacturing 40,000 motorcycle inner and outer tires daily, 500,000 tires annually, and 350,000 tons of rubber powder per year. Additionally, the company will introduce a daily production line for 50,000 cardboard boxes. Complementing these initiatives, the company also plans to build new facilities such as a rubber research and development center, a logistics hub, and a guesthouse to provide essential living amenities.
Once fully operational by the end of 2018, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of 1.61 billion yuan and create employment opportunities for 1,850 people.
The company’s leadership expressed their commitment to exploring and evaluating expansion projects, including cold-patch material upgrades, solid tire manufacturing, industrial conveyor belt systems, and automotive steel screw components. They aim to transform the company into a leading rubber industry hub in China within two to three years, while simultaneously establishing the industrial park as the largest tire manufacturing complex in Northeast China.
