He is Shi Feng, director of the safety production department and workshop leader of Chaoyang Huaxing Wanda Tire Co., Ltd.
Shi Feng is 42 years old, from Xingcheng, Huludao. He has been engaged in the production and processing of rubber products since his 20s. After 15 years of work, he has grown from an ordinary worker to a grassroots backbone. In 2013, Chaoyang Huaxing Wanda Tire Co., Ltd. built a factory in Beipiao. At the beginning of the factory, he was transferred here by the company. Shi Feng is conscientious and conscientious, and the factory is his home. During the five years he worked in Beipiao, he got up at 5:00 every morning to inspect the workshop, reported to the factory leaders in the afternoon, and it was past 8:00 when he returned to the dormitory. . Relying on this diligence, he was successively rated as a model worker in Beipiao City in 2016 and a model worker in Chaoyang City in 2017. This year, he was awarded the "May 1st Labor Medal" in Liaoning Province. In the face of honor, he is very modest: "I am not very educated, I rely on hard work and experience."
Strengthen management and care about employees
Shi Feng's daily work is not only complicated, but also related to the development of the company. He is mainly responsible for the safety production and product quality tracking of the whole factory, and every link cannot be slack. In strict accordance with the ISO9001 quality management system standards, starting from the human, machine, material and other links, he has gradually improved the standards for incoming inspection of raw materials, process technology, product inspection, etc., and constantly strengthens staff business training, and has done a lot of work to improve product quality.
In addition, Shi Feng is also very concerned about the living environment of the employees. Since the company established the Party Member Pioneer Post, as a Communist Party member, Shi Feng has often talked with employees to understand their living needs.
"The workers in the factory all work in three shifts, and many young people without families live and eat in the factory. It is not easy for everyone, and only by improving the quality of life can we retain people." Shi Feng said.
After doing a lot of investigation work, Shi Feng fed back the workers' opinions to the company manager. With the support of the company, he organized manpower to repaint the main workshop and repaired the bathrooms of the employees, improving the bathing environment of the employees. Workers have expressed that the current factory area is new, clean and tidy, and they are more comfortable to work.
Technological reform and innovation
As a grassroots manager, Shi Feng works and lives together with the workers, and he knows every production link. Fifteen years of front-line work experience has brought him not only the quality of diligence, but also the knowledge and experience that cannot be learned in books. This year, when Shi Feng inspected product quality in various workshops, he found that the quality of finished products was unstable and the rate of defective products was high during the production of inner tubes. After some observation, he found that the problem was with the setting ring. Previously, the factory used an open tube setting ring, which caused the tube to deform easily during the setting process. Therefore, Shi Feng carefully studied the principle of the setting ring, and installed an annular groove at the bottom of the original open setting ring. The groove just fits the shape of the inner tube, which effectively solves the problem of deformation of the inner tube. This technical improvement has increased the qualified rate of inner tube products in the whole plant by one percentage point, which has greatly saved production costs.
Shi Feng's technical improvement is far more than this one. There are 20 items such as "improvement of the safety device of the open mill", "modification of the extrusion line for the extrusion line", and many other technical improvements that he can't even remember. These improvements have enhanced the safety of workers' operations, reduced the amount of labor, and increased corporate profits, which are well received by the company's leaders and employees.
From worker to squad leader, from squad leader to workshop director, Shi Feng has deeply rooted himself in the front-line workshop, and every step he takes is extremely solid. He polishes every medal with his sweat, and writes his own chapter of life with diligence.
